My name is Kat Carney, and since losing 90 pounds 15 years ago, I’ve become very passionate about helping women reach their weight loss goals and get jazzed about how a reading a positive ‘inspirweigtion’ or learning about simple habit change like eating on smaller plates can brighten someone’s day and put them on the path towards success.

So I started thinking…diets aren’t one-size-fits all, but maybe I could create a positive, results-oriented, FREE weight loss community that was!

Based upon this simple notion of ‘success’ and ‘positivity’ (and FREE) I decided to combine the collective experiences of thousands of success stories and love for sharing what we’ve learned on our own weight loss journeys: The Weigh We Were. is here to help women struggling with weight to connect in more personal and meaningful ways to women just like them who have overcome everyday challenges to become weight loss success stories.

    I’m 364 after loosing some weight, I am in a program to get baratric surgery route n y I need support. And encouragement I am excited but have many health problems.

      Hey, remember that you’re always beautiful. Your BMI really isn’t that bad, it’s roughly a score of 27 making you overweight but not obese. With your diabetes, really watch your sugar and carb intake. Healthy snacks such as protein bars, organic beef jerky, and nuts are good for you but also good to eat when diabetic. Exercises such as walking, yoga, pilates, boxing, and CrossFit help to burn unwanted fat but also help the brain secrete neurotransmitters that can help with depression

    I have always been over weight, even as a young child. I’m now a 29-year-old mother of three children, two of whom have special needs. I need to live a long and healthy life for my kids. I have tried everything under the sun to lose weight, but I have PCOS and hypothyroidism, so that makes things a little more complicated. I’m considering having weight loss surgery, and I’m wondering if anyone on here has gone that route. I’m 5’2″ tall, and I weigh 242 lbs. I have no energy, and I am always physically uncomfortable. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    I am very depressed since you divorce 4 years ago lost everything now I am from check to check and being healthy cost so much I’m 5 5 225 pounds I have fibromyalgia I’m in constant pain all day everyday it’s to the point that I take my medication and I drink wine so I don’t have to feel no more pain .Mrs in pain

    Hi my name is Tanya and im 26 years old im struggling with my weight since 2000 till now i have try everything exercises and alot more so please help me with my since I have a little boy im looking forward to spend more time &play with
