What an inspiring lady you are! Your story reminds me of my late mother who had polio has a young child. Polio is a cruel, degenerative condition and it did impact hugely on her mobility and co-ordination as she got older, but she was always determined to stay as independent as possible. She always said that she was fortunate as only one side of her body was affected and she was able to do most of the things that she wanted in her life.
