Citrus-Collard SmoothieThis delicious smoothie is an easy way to get more greens in and is a healthy snack or breakfast.

This smoothie provides 4 gm of fiber. According to the United States Department of Agriculture, diets rich in fruits, vegetables and fiber may help reduce the risk of heart disease, obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Collard leaves contribute other nutrients like, vitamin K, vitamin C and folate. Bananas are a natural source of potassium, which is an electrolyte needed for proper nerve and muscle contractions.

Citrus juices in lime and oranges add more vitamin C that can help boost immune function.
