Weight Loss Before and After: Heather’s Amazing 100 Pounds Weight Loss Journey
My name is Heather Cherry I was at the heaviest weight I’ve ever been in my life was almost 300 pounds and I needed to change my life style or get diabetes like my whole family has. January 2013 was when I started my weight loss journery I went back to the Onelife fitness gym since I joined the gym a few years back but never went to the gym. This time was different from the other times I tried to lose weight but didn’t and I knew that. I started my weight loss journery with a personal trainer at the gym. That first month I took sodas and junk food out of my life. Those were my weakness when it came to unhealthy food once I took those out of my life I started to really lose weight. I only lost 10 pounds that first month but to me it was about being healthier then I was. Febuary 2013 was when I went to the first Zumba class at the gym it was the hard the first time I took it but I made it though the hour of it. After that I went to Zumba and my personal trainer as much as I could. On my birthday June 2013 my weight went down to 199 I was happy and excited about it and also didn’t know what to think about it. November 2013 was the day I went and got new clothes because I started at 20-18 jeans to a size 12 jeans and my dress was a size 20 and it went down to a size 10 dress it was crazy how much my clothes sizes went down but for the better. On December 2013 was one of the biggest things I did for myself since I lost all this weight I went and became a Zumba instructor and I couldn’t have been happier about it because I was always the shy one when I was bigger. Since losing weight I noticed I was more outgoing with people. January 2014 I lost a total of 100 pounds and that was the day that it has been a year since I started my weight loss journery. I still have not so great days but I always keep working out no matter what and making sure I stay healthy as I can be. Not any of this would have been possible without the amazing people that have pushed me to keep going it’s always good to have a great support system! I had my family & friends, the Zumba instructor that have helped me along the way, My personal trainer, Onelife fitness gym. Even today I still go to a personal training and still go to Zumba classes I stay active as much as I can.
