My weight loss
I lost 115 pounds in the last 2.5 years. I started losing weight in the Spring of 2006 I was only 21 and I was tipping the scales at 260 pounds. Now, 2.5 years later and 23, I am a happy and healthy 145. My change? I reduced my portions, stopped snacking, and went to the gym 6 days a week. When I began working out I could only do the elipitcal for 10 minutes; at my peak I would do the eliptical for 45 and then run 1.5-2 miles. I still work out consistently and I am determined to maintain my weight. I have studied nutrition consistently since thing and I enjoy being a bit of a “health junkie.” It took years of working and sweating, but in the end, it was totally worth it. I’ve never felt better.
