Read her success story! Before and after fitness success motivation from women who hit their weight loss goals and got THAT BODY with training and meal prep. Learn their workout tips get inspiration! | TheWeighWeWere.comI am a 43 yr old mother of 3. I had my last baby at 41. Those first pictures of me were the day I had my son. That was February 22 2008. I was 267 lbs and had  high blood pressure that was threatening my son’s life. As a result, my son had to be delivered 4 weeks early.

It took me a few months for my health crisis to abate but then I knew I had to do something. I still had high blood pressure was on 3 different meds and was being monitored by a cardiologist.

I started Atkins in June 2008. I have been on plan since then and have lost 95 lbs. My blood pressure is 120/72 now. My heart conditions are resolved. I am on no more medications and my lipid profile is amazing. My triglycerides are 48 now.

I am tired of  people who put down Atkins. My days  are filled with lots of veggies and even fruits  and even whole grains now that I am in the higher phases and getting ready to enter maintenance. It is a gradual progression of adding in the right good healthy carbs at the right time to make sure your body can handle it while losing weight. I have never felt more satisfied and I feel like I have lost this weight effortlessly because I have enjoyed every bite and I am never ever hungry.

Yesterday I ate nearly 32 ounces of vegetables. I would bet that there are not many plans that encourage people to eat their veggies, drink their water and exercise themselves into fitness and health. NO eating out of a box, No expensive programs. Just buy the book, eat the foods and even visit their free support website with a nutritionist there to help you and answer all kinds of questions.

Atkins not only helps you lose the weight it teaches you how to eat for life. You learn so much about yourself doing Atkins.
