I have been overweight for as long as I can remember, always the biggest girl in my class growing up – wearing sweat pants all the time when I was younger because I was too terrified of shopping at the plus size store. Food was my best friend – it was there when I was happy, sad, excited, bored… everything! My “aha” moment came September of 2011… I, like many other overweight people, was putting my weight loss on other people… I wanted my husband to lose weight with me, almost as if I was sitting around for him to start eating healthier and then I would just do it by default… Well, last September I finally told myself that I have to do this for myself and by myself… I can’t put it on anyone else it’s my body and my health no one else’s and it was time I became accountable for it! I started doing Weight watchers online in September of 2011 with my mom and I also started a YouTube channel to document my weight loss with weekly weigh ins. I have lost 65 lbs in that time and I am now 85 lbs lighter than at my heaviest weight ever. I stopped doing weight watchers online after about 50 lbs lost and continued just using My Fitness Pal which is a free online diet tracker, I love it! I have all my friends on there and we can view each others food diaries! I also have made fitness a priority in my life, I completed P90X and Insanity and am about to start the Turbofire workout program. I am also a Beachbody Coach, I love helped others reach their health and fitness goals!! My whole life has changed, to say the least, and I love it!
