I lost 70 pounds! See my before and after weight loss pictures, and read amazing weight loss success stories from real women and their best weight loss diet plans and programs. Motivation to lose weight with walking and inspiration from before and after weightloss pics and photos.I was about 21 years old, 220 lbs, and oblivious to my weight gain because I was happy at the time. I got a phone call from my doctor telling me that my cholesterol was sky high. She advised me to start eating better and lose weight ASAP. That was the day I started my weight loss journey.

I started by doing Herbal Life shakes and joined the gym. I lost 30 lbs doing that. We had meetings once a week to go over our weight loss and different products. Some might say it’s just a way to make money, but it helped me. They weighed us once a week along with checking our measurements. That was motivation for me, especially when I saw that scale drop every time I got on it. I did have weeks where I didn’t lose or times when I had gained some back. Of course I was upset and ready to quit, but I had a good support system. Around this time I also decided to become a vegetarian. Not just for health reasons, it was mostly a moral thing for me, but I did lose a lot more weight once I became vegetarian.
It’s been years since I I got that life changing phone call, and I want everyone to know that it’s not supposed to be easy. I lost 70 pounds, and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and I’ve had tons of obstacles in life. Instead of getting discouraged when you see that you haven’t lost weight, or even gained some back, be encouraged! Don’t quit because you feel down. This should make you want to workout even harder. I know the feeling of discouragement, and I wish someone was there every time I felt this way to tell me to keep going. The one thing that I realized in the years of working out is you MUST change it up. Don’t do the same thing everyday. It gets boring, and your body gets used to it. If you’re the type of person that needs a gym buddy, make sure you make gym dates for every week. Slowly eliminate the bad foods. You don’t have to quit cold turkey just take it slow and you will get to where you want to be.
Stay positive and strong.
If you start to feel like you can’t do it anymore you should talk to someone who is going through what you’re going through so you know you’re not alone in YOUR journey.
