“I couldn’t stand looking at pictures of myself. Also, I had high blood pressure, pre-diabetes and high cholesterol,” she says.

“I was scared if I kept it up, I would weigh 300 pounds before long, and I didn’t want that to happen.”

She lost 72 pounds and weighs 210.

“I attend water aerobics twice a week and work out at my company wellness center three days a week,” she says.

“I’m more conscious of adding exercise into my everyday lifestyle. I park farther away and take the stairs more.

I participate in wellness initiatives at my company gym such as 5K races and a 10,000-step-per-day walking program.”
