Biggest Hurdle: Eating healthy at parties and restaurants. On past diets, I just skipped social events and always ate at home. I was scared that I would eat too much of the wrong things.
I Overcame It By: Learning how to enjoy parties and dinners out without going overboard. I always eat a healthy snack before I go to a party, and when I get there I try to fill my plate with mostly vegetables. I also just taste appetizers instead of eating two or three. Of course, I still treat myself to a cookie—but I eat much less.
