After Thanksgiving 2006, my boyfriend broke up with me. I looked in the mirror and thought “I could be depressed and eat myself to 1,000 pounds, or I can do something to make me happy”. So I began walking, then joined a gym and started following the Weight Watchers
plan. At one point I was eating 7 times a day, all good food that was delicious. Being a former chef, I would take it a challenge to transform average recipes into healthy delicious meals. After 4 years, I went from a size 26 to a size 5. People often now do not believe old photos are actually of me! It’s not easy, but it is worth it.
