I was 340 pounds, had an abnormal heart beat, sleep apnea, hyper tension, and kidney challenges and I was only 23 years young.

My doctor told me I may not live to be 40.My first diet started in elementary school.

Food always meant happiness and fulfillment. It wasn’t until I was taking care of my dad- changing his diapers and pushing him in a wheel chair, that I realized if I don’t change then that will be me.

I could not walk my entire driveway but I started there. I have worked at it since that day, pushing myself to get to the end of the driveway, then pushing myself to walk the neighborhood to just having finished my first Triathlon in October 2013 and am now training for a half marathon.

In 4 years this May, I have released 150 pounds without pills or surgery. I was told in September by my doctor in San Diego I am one of her healthiest patients. I weigh 190 pounds today and I haven’t weighed this since 3rd grade.

What this journey has taught me most importantly is health and happiness does not have a size. During my journey, I lost the weight physically but not emotionally.

It wasn’t until I lost the emotional weight that I was able to finally see the physical success I have achieved. I created my business Inspirational Eve (www.inspirationaleve.com) to help others lose weight and gain control of their life through coaching, cooking classes and teleseminars.
