From FAT to FAB!
Hitting the scale at 220 on a 5’7 frame was let’s put it, more than depressing. Which then became a vicious circle; the more my weight increased, the more depressed I became about it and the more I turned to food.
After a depressing shopping trip where I could officially no longer fit into “regular” size clothes, I changed 2 things:
– No longer eat prepared foods, nothing frozen and ready to eat, fast food etc, only use fresh natural ingredients.
– Get a gym membership.
It took nearly a year for the weight to come off, which is a healthy pace, meaning no unhealthy crash diets but rather a life style change that would stick.
I have been at my goal weigh for quite some time now and look and feel 10 yrs younger. It’s a great feeling and if I can do it, then anyone can do it too!
