I was very embarrassed I didn’t want to be around no one. I didn’t like taking pictures I was very self conscious

WHAT WAS THE “TURNING POINT” THAT GOT YOU STARTED ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY?
I went to the doctor and he told me I was 18 years weighing 254 pounds. He said I was obese

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I throw away junk I wasn’t eating nothing but cabbage greens and drinking water. I started working out in my bedroom Day night twice a day. I was using the BLACK GIRLS WORK OUT TOO DVD & Billy Blanks DVD.

HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS?
Within a month I drop 54 pounds just from working out day and night from my bedroom using the BLACK GIRLS WORK OUT TOO DVD & Billy blank DVD. I really wasn’t eating much and I know it wasn’t healthy but I had to do what was working for me.

WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?
I just had to get use to exercising in the gym around other people.

All I did was eat and sleep. I was eating enough food to feed 4 people. But it was the depo shot had me gaining all of that weight.

Now I’m very active I stay in the gym. When I was heavier I probably would have got mad if someone ask me to go walking. Lol
