I called a trainer and desperately asked him to help me. I had been a jogger/walker, but could not fight the weight. I started weight training three days per week and cardio three days, and one day off. I followed a very strict diet given to me by my trainer and four months later, I had lost 20 lbs. Just had a physical and was able to stop taking my cholesterol medication.
With heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and dementia all running in my family I had to get serious about my health. If just one person is inspired by my story and makes life changes, I am happy.
