How I Lost It

I eat often. To make sure I never get too hungry and overindulge, I have a small meal every two hours. My favorite snacks are protein bars and grapes.

I dance it off. I heard about a Zumba (a Latin-inspired aerobic routine) class being offered at my local gym. I joined and now take six classes a week — I’m losing weight, toning, and having a great time.

I check menus in advance. My family eats out at restaurants once a month. The night before we go, I check the menu online so I can plan a smart, low-calorie choice like salad or salmon.
