Learn their workout tips get inspiration! | TheWeighWeWere.comOn October 10th 2012, I made the decision that I did not want to be fat anymore and THIS time nothing would stop me. I got the inspiration from a family member, Christine Hoover, who had lost over 40 pounds and made me feel that I also had the potential. I cleared my fridge of all the junk, and replaced it with natural items. Fresh veggies, fruits, white meats, water etc. Basically nothing processed or fake and only things that my ancestors would have eaten. This was the day I began to “eat clean.”
In addition to my diet I knew I had to get on an exercise regimen. I went to the internet to look for ideas. I seen a friend of mine on Facebook who had checked into The Camp Boot Camp – Riverside. I messaged her for more details and showed up that Monday. i was nervous, like the first day of school or a new job. But that went away immediately. I have been attending each morning at 6am and they have become my greatest motivation to becoming the New Me.
I also joined Zumba at The Source Studio in Riverside. I attend each evening. Their atmosphere and clientele are so positively energetic. They made me feel like a part of their family from day #1.
Eat clean, have a positive attitude, join a fitness program, surround yourself with people who are on the same road to success as you and love yourself. These are the only tool you need to becoming healthy, fit and happy with your body. Using these tools for just 10 weeks with no pills or fad diets and Ive lost about 40 pounds.I feel like a new person, with a new found respect towards the one body I was given. There’s no turning back this time. If I can do it, so can anyone.
