100 Pounds Lost
A little less junk in my trunk..~ Keep my every year resolution~
I have been struggling with my weight since the day I was born it seems.
After many downfalls in my life, and many struggles that I was unable to control, this is one fight I can control.
The rewards of it are priceless. I weighed in at 325 lbs August 2007. Since August 2007 I have lost 112 pounds~ It took one roller coaster, one theme park, and the 30 seconds of humilitaion finding publicly I was too fat to ride.
Within 30 days I was able to get on the roller coaster, snug, but able to ride. I went from a size 24-26W to 14-16W.

My road is not over, I have a goal of 60 more pounds I hope to shed. A healthy lifestyle will remain in my life.. till death do us part..
If you fall, get back up. If you cheat, call yourself out. If your too tired, your not pushing hard enough.
All my best-
Rachel

I know the feeling. At close to 400 pounds, my mind convinced my body to ride a roller coaster at a local amusement park. After push..pulling…sucking in..not breathing…I had to get off in shame and broken hearted. After a crying spell…roughly 2 days or maybe 2 weeks…i lost count…i knew i needed a change. I am proud to say i am 180 pounds less and can ride every ride….except the ones that take way too much courage. I am still working towards my goal…but it is a marathon..not a sprint!

I had the same thing happen to me years ago. It was super embarrassing to have to call over the attendant to lift the bar because I couldnt get it latched. I cried in the middle of the park. Now I’ve dropped 100lbs but haven’t been back yet to try again.

Awesome !!! Way to go, so proud of you! When I was younger I actually got stuck in a roller coaster seat because I was too big for the ride, had to have an attendant help me, I was completely humiliated. Haven’t been on one since 🙁 and it’s been over 30 years. You’re my inspiration.

I sympathize. It’s embarrassing and humiliating to be on an airplane and have to ask for a belt extension. Happily I won’t have to the next time I fly. Keep up the great work. It’s a day at a time, a meal or snack at a time. You’re an inspiration.
