HOW DID YOU GET STARTED? I started tracking my food and drinking water to be accountable
HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS? about 2 weeks, into it after I started losing more weight.
WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART? Well, I had support in the beginning, for about 6 weeks my ex husband and I would walk , then that dwindled off so I had no in-real life support, so basically I did it on my own with the help of an online community.
later into the journey I had to deal with separation/divorce and controlling my outrageous emotional eating problem so I didn’t gain everything that I had lost back
DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING? Absolutely there were times I was tired of it all, didn’t want to track didn’t want to measure didn’t really wanna keep going but I kept telling myself that I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO WHERE I WAS and I kept pressing on.
I’ve been through a LOT of crazy stuff the last few years and honestly had it not been that I had became a personal trainer and was helping others I probably would have easily regained everything again
DID YOU HIT ANY WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAUS? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM? Yes – I pretty much coasted through 2013 -2015 at the same weight.. finally back to losing weight again after coming to terms and basically forgiving myself for gaining a little of the weight that I had lost-
HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO LOSE MOST OF THE WEIGHT? about 2..5 years.
DID YOU HAVE ANY NON-SCALE VICTORIES? My MOST favorite will always be when my son was able to hug me all the way around for the first time!! it was the most incredible moment!!!!
WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY DIET LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER? Rarely eat fast food, I eat tons of veggies, drink protein shakes etc… before GREEEEEESE!!!! LOL
HOW DOES YOUR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY COMPARE TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER? Lol – well I am now a personal trainer and I work out with all of my clients so there are days I get 3-6 sessions of workouts in compared to barely being able to walk down my driveway to get the mail and then have to rest on the porch before climbing up the stairs to go in
