I was always shy..never went to high school parties or dated because of my weight.. having a thin twin sister made it even more difficult for me

I was approaching 40 this year, and decided enough is enough.. I wanted to get heathy and finally be happy for once in my life

WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?
I hate exercise, but I make a point to walk at least 4 days a week.. my parents have helped me financially with Jenny Craig, as it can be very expensive because they knew I wanted this very badly

DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING?
Of course I did, but I have to keep plugging away.. I’ve worked so hard, and will never look back!

DID YOU HIT ANY WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAUS? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?
I have, I just stay focused.. and think how far I have come.. drinking a lot of water is key, too

Being able to finally shop in “regular” stores and not exclusively plus size stores

WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY DIET LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
Wow.. I follow Jenny Craig now but before I would eat fast food for breakfast lunch and dinner, and then come home after working my second job and eat again

HOW DOES YOUR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY COMPARE TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
I’m much more active.. before I would never move

MY WEIGHT LOSS TIPS & TRICKS

  1. Drink plenty of water!
  2. Get up and move if only for 10 minutes!
  3. Stay focused.. it’s tough, and you will have bad days, but move past those days and keep plugging away
  4. Have a great support system around you!
  5. Don’t give up! It’s all worth it in the end!
