I have had a problem with my weight for over 20 years

Being overweight affected many aspects of my life. It was hard for me to get around and do fun things, exercising was a challenge to say the least. I was not comfortable in my own skin and had extremely low self esteem
WHAT WAS THE “TURNING POINT” THAT GOT YOU STARTED ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY?
I injured my leg and was unable to work for several weeks, that was when I knew I had to make some serious changes in my life
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I started out by taking as much of the bad foods out of my diet, as possible. A few months later I was introduced to juicing
HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS?
The first 30 pounds came off within a couple of months, I knew that I was on the right path and never wanted to go back
WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?
So many challenges when you overweight, for me it was not having the energy to move my body the way it needed to be moved. exercising was not happening for me, it was too painful and too embarrassing
DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING?
I often wanted to give up and just eat what I want and not put the energy into me, it wasn’t an option anymore. My kids and grandkids are the reason I’m still on the path of good healthy eating
DID YOU HIT ANY WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAUS? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?
There were times that I would put a couple of pounds on in a week’s time, I would get frustrated and then just got right back on track and just kept myself there for as long as possible. It’s been a rocky road, but I’m so glad I’m on this path

It took me about 10 months to loose the 70 pounds

- Learn to love and except yourself, you are worth the time and energy that it takes to feel good
- Stay around positive uplifting people, it helps to stay on track
- Don’t get discouraged when you get off track a little, we are only human and life is full of temptation. Just get right back up and try again
- Drink water as often as possible, it flushes the toxins out of your body and assists with weightloss
