
I used to be a thin girl back in my highschool days and early 20’s. When I turned 22 I went into treatment for alcoholism and addiction. Through my sobriety I discovered how good food really tastes and the weight gain began. At 29 I was 215 pounds. My boyfriend of 4 years proposed to me in July of 2010. In October of 2011 we had our engagement photos taken and I was disgusted when I received the images. It was the first time I really saw how large I had let myself get. I decided then that I did not want to look back at my wedding photographs and want to cry each time I saw how I looked. So the day before easter, Saturday April 8th, 2012 I started the Medifast program. It was hard to give up all my favorite foods but I was determined. I also begain biking atleast twice a week and working out on my eliptical. By the time my wedding approached I went from 195 at the start of the program down to 140 and has since maintained my weight. I can’t believe how happy I am and how much I LOVE my wedding photographs!!! Best decision I have ever made was to dedicate my life to loosing weight and getting back into shape (besides marrying my husband of course)
