I didn’t like how I looked, my health.

The day my doctor told me I had diabetes on December 2014
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
The very same day I was told about my diabetes, that day I started to change my eating habits, then 2 weeks after I started to exercise
HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS?
I will say 2 weeks after my weight loss journey began.
WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?
Well maybe that I have to put double effort since I have Hypothyroidism!
DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING?
Oh yes I definitely felt like throwing in the towel.
My health encouraged me to keep pushing on.

Right now I’m on a plateau, I’m making some changes to see if I can break it!!!
HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO LOSE MOST OF THE WEIGHT?
My weight loss journey started in December 2014 and it took me 1 year to lose most of the weight.

I was 2xx top size now I’m size Medium
Pants size 18 now I’m size 8!
WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY DIET LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
Healthier, cleaner, natural food
95% of the time I cook my meals, I drink more water also

Very different I work out 5 days per week 30-60min before I had a very sedentary lifestyle!
MY WEIGHT LOSS TIPS & TRICKS
- Never ever give up!
- Check your health with your doctor periodically.
- Don’t judge yourself harshly.
- Do it for you, not for others.
- Don’t open your ears to insults or criticism from other people regarding your appearance.
