WHEN DID YOU START DEVELOPING A WEIGHT PROBLEM?
As long as i remember I was a little bigger than the other kids. Trough my pregnancys I started gaining weight so much that it became unhealthy.
HOW DID YOUR WEIGHT AFFECT ANY ASPECT(S) OF YOUR LIFE?
From the outside I looked confident but on the inside I always felt insecure. For example goofing around with my kids felt exhausting so I didn’t play with them very much. I couldn’t fit the clothes I wanted to wear so I never went shopping with friends. I was self conscious all the time. I felt ashamed when I ate snacks at a party, and was always in some kind of denial about my health. I ‘forgot ‘ my swimsuit when going to the beach so I could stay in my clothes.. things like that..
WHAT WAS THE “TURNING POINT” THAT GOT YOU STARTED ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY?
I hurt my back really bad. My back was my weak spot all along but this time I couldn’t move for like a week. The doctor told me to strengthen my abs and maybe lose some weight. At that point I was done with my obesity, it had too much effect on my life, time for change
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
-go to the gym and book a session with a personal trainer
– lower my portions
– cutting down on sugar
HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS?
I started to see the results quite quickly. Maybe 3 or 4 weeks

DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING?
I felt so much healthier and my kids love their new mom who plays with them. I never wanted to give up because I love every part of my journey.

Because i was training my muscles the weight wasn’t going down as fast as in the beginning. So i really had to stop focusing on the number of the scale and start looking in the mirror

WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY DIET LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
My basic diet was ok, 3 meals a day and 2 or 3 snack moments each day. But I was a secret eater. I had this crazy idea that when nobody saw me eating the calories don’t count. So I had chocolate in the car, ate a lot of cookies when I was home alone.. all sweet junk. Also I rewarded myself with food. The soda was maybe the biggest problem.. Coca Cola, Red Bull on a regular basis.

- Don’t be to hard on yourself laundry-wife
You can wear the same leggings to the gym easily 3 times
- Make selfies.. a lot of them.. but be aware when you give your phone to anyone
