WHEN DID YOU START DEVELOPING A WEIGHT PROBLEM?
I developed a weight problem as a baby
Adult , every year I just got bigger .
HOW DID YOUR WEIGHT AFFECT ANY ASPECT(S) OF YOUR LIFE?
I was lazy and use to drive everywhere ,
I could not walk much had too much pain , I could never play with my boys ,
My ex Husbsnd use to tell me off cause I could not perform
WHAT WAS THE “TURNING POINT” THAT GOT YOU STARTED ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY?
I was diagnosed with sydgorgrens syndrome , that was my focus to live and not be crippled with pain as I got older .
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I just new what to do , I emptied my cupboards and ate clean , no more miracle pills quick fixes , just hard work and determination to look in the mirror and say I look awesome , please God give me st
HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS?
I saw results after 30 kilos , lol ,
It was good .
WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?
My support of my husband , he hated me getting slimmer and people making comments , I soo hated him
Going through my journey but I stayed for my children .
DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING?
Never did I feel soo empowerd , no never I kept going and then won SLIMMER OF THE YEAR .
And I sold my story to Real life magazine in the U K .
DID YOU HIT ANY WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAUS? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?
Never once did I stabilised I kept going until I got to my goal .
HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO LOSE MOST OF THE WEIGHT?
It took me 8 months to lose all my weight .
DID YOU HAVE ANY NON-SCALE VICTORIES?
Yes after I had my plastic surgery was amazing as I lost more skin and fat ,.
WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY DIET LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
I have fresh salads
Meats all organic now I weigh
All my proteins and use cup size portions of veggies ,
I never was ever soo disciplined , .
Exercise everyday and I have started weight training .
