HOW DID YOUR WEIGHT AFFECT ANY ASPECT(S) OF YOUR LIFE? I was always tired, couldn’t get a job, my knees and ankles always hurt, and I couldn’t get pregnant.
WHAT WAS THE “TURNING POINT” THAT GOT YOU STARTED ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY? Tired of being tired
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED? I started walking with a friend, counting calories and tracking my food on my fitness pal.
HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS? 3 months
WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART? Adjusting my schedule to make time for the gym, also I became obsessed with my scale so learning not to over weigh.
DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING? No, I dropped weight so fast it was really addictive
DID YOU HIT ANY WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAUS? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM? I got pregnant with my daughter and took a year off, learning to juggle work, graduate school, a new baby and the gym was tricky. I set a goal to be pre baby size by her 1st birthday and that motivates me
