WHEN DID YOU START DEVELOPING A WEIGHT PROBLEM?
I started packing on the lbs in high school and then throughout college. My lateral years and post years after college, it became worst. I felt like a beach whale walking through public.
HOW DID YOUR WEIGHT AFFECT ANY ASPECT(S) OF YOUR LIFE?
Normally people would say, they were depressed, sad, down, but I am quite the opposite. I have always had confidence with a any appearance I displayed. When I was bigger, I embraced it. My comedic side somewhat covered my over weight and lets face it, we find is more acceptable for a guys to be bigger than a female. Right?
WHAT WAS THE “TURNING POINT” THAT GOT YOU STARTED ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY?
This question made me feel like the show “Who Want to Be a Millionaire” and all the lights have focused down on me to answer this one question I get all the time. What was the wake up call? What was the turning point. Well let me tell you. I call it the “Belly Debbie Downer.”
One day I sat down at my desk at work, and I noticed that stomach hit my desk before my arms did. That is when I knew I had a serious problem. I just thought to myself….”how in the world did my stomach meet my desk before the rest of my body did?”
That is why I call it the “Belly Debbie Downer.” This was my wake up call.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
Took baby steps. Started walking a mile a day. Started cutting out sodas and cheap fast foods, and just built on that everyday.
HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS?
Within the first month I saw results, then it became to new addiction. Fitness and my health became number one in my life.
WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?
My biggest challenge with the clean eating part. At first my body hated me. I had headaches, soreness, and it was not pleasurable. Once I got over that, I was smooth sailing. 🙂
DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING?
The people that had faith in my, my family, my friends, and myself. I could not let myself down or them.
DID YOU HIT ANY WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAUS? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?
Yes. Shocked my metabolism with different foods and changed up workout schedule.
HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO LOSE MOST OF THE WEIGHT?

I started my own online fitness company called B.U.R.N. LLC. through this journey so I could help and empower more people like myself.

Good Carbs, Lean Protein, and a great deal of water.

Train 5 Days a week, 2 days cardio, 3 days weightlifiting

- Eat like a King/Queen in the morning,
Prince or Princess at lunch
and a pauper at dinner time.
- Don’t starve yourself!
- Have one cheat meal (not CHEAT DAY) a week!
- Embrace your body!
- Be AWESOME!
