I’ve always had a weight problem.

My weight affected every area of my life. Mostly my desire to start a family. I developed PCOS which effects your ability to have children. I tried for 3 years. Then after finally getting pregnant I was told I couldn’t have the birth I wanted because of my weight.

After I had my daughter I lived my life for her and my weight start melting off. I decided to start my journey to keep up with her.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I started with walking and doing a few home workouts then I joined a gym.

After 3 months I began to physically see a change.
WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?
I had to find time to get to the gym. I had a full time job, a new baby, a home to take care of as well as other things.

I wanted to give up when I wouldn’t see a change in the scale. I reminded my self progress takes time and if I stopped now I would very soon be back to where I was.

Right when I was about to lose 100lbs I hit a major plateau I didn’t lose a pound for weeks. Then I took a break. Took a few days off the gym and had a few cheat meals. Then went right back to it. Immediately I saw results.

It took me about a year.

Many! One that stands out is getting on a seesaw with my husband and not being able to make him go up.

I would eat whatever I wanted before. Now I am so aware of everything I put into my body, everything is a number.

I am active always, I walk, ride a bike and workout daily.
