I was always heavy even as a child.  My weight affected me in many ways especially when it comes to my self esteem which lead me down many wrong paths for example the men I choose.

WHAT WAS THE “TURNING POINT” THAT GOT YOU STARTED ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY?  I read a text message from my ex husband in which he was making fun of my size. I decided to move on and get healthy right then and there

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?  I started by slowly changing my diet and exercising

HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS?  Within weeks there was a major difference because I was so heavy

WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?  No support from my family and shortage of cash

DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING?  Wanted to give up multiple time but when I look at how far I have come and how much I have accomplished I never do. Also my kids

DID YOU HIT ANY WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAUS? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?  Yes. I changed my workout routine or macros

HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO LOSE MOST OF THE WEIGHT?  The first year I lost 70 lbs

DID YOU HAVE ANY NON-SCALE VICTORIES?  Yes. Especially in the last year. Mostly losing inches

WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY DIET LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?  Well my calories are definitely lower. I eat more offen as well. All meal are kept as clean as possible. So no more fried or processed foods. Baked or grilled

HOW DOES YOUR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY COMPARE TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?  Way more active. I train/ workout 6 days a week

MY WEIGHT LOSS TIPS & TRICKS

  1. Keep meals clean
  2. Plan ahead , log your meals
  3. Get your workouts in
  4. Try to figure what may have caused you to put that weight on. GET RID OF IT!!
  5. Stay focused, love yourself and remember why you started
