Weight Loss Stories

The Life Changing Rollercoaster

By  |

Great success story! Read before and after fitness transformation stories from women and men who hit weight loss goals and got THAT BODY with training and meal prep. Find inspiration, motivation, and workout tips | The Life Changing RollercoasterMy weight loss journey started in 2009 when I was in a size 26 and weighed 302lbs. Today I am currently in a size 6 and weigh 145lbs.

I had known for quite a while that I had weight issues. Issues I never tried to address. What finally pushed me over the edge and spawned
my weight loss challenge for myself was my visit to a local theme park.

I had waited for over 2 hours in a line to ride a new rollercoaster. Upon my arrival to the seat of the ride, I was unable to fasten the seat belt.

That was when I knew something had to change.

I finally committed to losing weight. Right after my wedding (of course after) I started a boot camp. I stuck with that for about 5 months and I lost 60lbs.

I felt after that time that I could loose the rest of the weight on my own. I continued at the gym and eating healthy.

As of today I have lost almost 160lbs and I am such a happier, healthier, and active person. I use to not be able to walk more than maybe an quarter of a mile and now I just ran my first Warrior Dash obstacle course last July and I have never felt so good in my life.

I am trying to reach out and help others who are where I was or maybe just trying to lose a little. I am committed to this life and I could not be happier.

Great job!!! I know the feeling of being to heavy to ride a roller coaster. So heartbreaking and embarrassing at the same time.
