I had never weighed that much in my life but it seems like it just “slipped” up on me. I tried losing weight and got down to 330 but I just couldn’t stick with it. I did manage to stay at 330 though. One morning in 2010, I woke up from a dream. In that dream I saw myself at a normal healthy weight and I liked what I saw. That day I decided that it was now or never. I basically just started out cutting out or cutting down on what made me fat. I stopped frying my foods, now everything is baked, grilled, boiled or broiled. I mostly eat turkey, fish, chicken and lots of vegetables. I’ve learned that butter isn’t a major food group. For exercise I mostly walk but I do Zumba and other aerobics too. I also do some strength training. So far I’ve lost 152 pounds and still have a little more to lose. My biggest problem right now is loose or extra skin on my upper arms, lower abdomen and upper thighs but I’m just taking it on my own. I already feel so much better. I have more energy to play with my kids and a lot of the aches and pains I was having are gone.
