This hearty smoothie is ideal for Fall and it’s easy to see why, it is jam-packed with fiber and vitamin C.

Nutrition Per Serving:        

Calories: 170
Protein: 2 g
Carbohydrate: 43 g
Total Fat: 0 g
Sodium: 2 mg
Fiber: 3 g

Ingredients:

1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
2 orange wedges for garnish
½ cup dried cranberries, setting aside some for garnish
1 ripe banana, peeled
¼ cup water
1 cup ice cubes

Preparation:

Combine all of the ingredients,except for the garnish, in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish each serving with an orange wedge and dried cranberries.

Yield: 2 servings
