Great success story! Read before and after fitness transformation stories from women and men who hit weight loss goals and got THAT BODY with training and meal prep. Find inspiration, motivation, and workout tips | My weight loss journeyMy name is Heather Cherry I was at the heaviest weight I’ve ever been in my life was almost 300 pounds and I needed to change my life style or get diabetes like my whole family has. January 2013 was when I started my weight loss journery I went back to the Onelife fitness gym since I joined the gym a few years back but never went to the gym. This time was different from the other times I tried to lose weight but didn’t and I knew that. I started my weight loss journery with a personal trainer at the gym. That first month I took sodas and junk food out of my life. Those were my weakness when it came to unhealthy food once I took those out of my life I started to really lose weight. I only lost 10 pounds that first month but to me it was about being healthier then I was. Febuary 2013 was when I went to the first Zumba class at the gym it was the hard the first time I took it but I made it though the hour of it. After that I went to Zumba and my personal trainer as much as I could. On my birthday June 2013 my weight went down to 199 I was happy and excited about it and also didn’t know what to think about it. November 2013 was the day I went and got new clothes because I started at 20-18 jeans to a size 12 jeans and my dress was a size 20 and it went down to a size 10 dress it was crazy how much my clothes sizes went down but for the better. On December 2013 was one of the biggest things I did for myself since I lost all this weight I went and became a Zumba instructor and I couldn’t have been happier about it because I was always the shy one when I was bigger. Since losing weight I noticed I was more outgoing with people. January 2014 I lost a total of 100 pounds and that was the day that it has been a year since I started my weight loss journery. I still have not so great days but I always keep working out no matter what and making sure I stay healthy as I can be. Not any of this would have been possible without the amazing people that have pushed me to keep going it’s always good to have a great support system! I had my family & friends, the Zumba instructor that have helped me along the way, My personal trainer, Onelife fitness gym. Even today I still go to a personal training and still go to Zumba classes I stay active as much as I can.
