Over the holidays in December 2006,

…she met a woman who had lost 40 pounds on the Fresh ‘n Fit cuisine program .


Meals rotate every five weeks, so on a daily basis the menus vary.

Breakfast might be scrambled eggs with cheese,

…along with half a bagel and cream cheese and yogurt.

Lunch is often a salad

…or vegetarian wrap with fruit.

Dinner may be blanched spinach, steamed vegetables or whole-wheat pasta with grilled salmon or chicken


Kirk’s biggest challenge?

Going on a cruise in May

…and being surrounded by all-day buffets.

“I was a little nervous about it,

…but we were so active

…and we did so much walking and excursions -walking on the beach is incredible exercise – I wasn’t hungry,” she says.

Kirk weighs 196 pounds
