When I was in high school.

I was embarrassed I didn’t want to go anywhere I just stayed in my room I didn’t hang with friends took no pictures at all.
WHAT WAS THE “TURNING POINT” THAT GOT YOU STARTED ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY?
My doctor told me you’re 23 years old and you weight 246 pounds. I was in shock I never cared about my weight hr said I was obese but I didn’t have any health problems. I saw my self in a mirror a full size mirror right then and there I knew I had to change my lifestyle.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I started doing sit-ups in my room and a did a 15 minutes dvd workout.
HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS?
Within two months I went from 246 to 210 my doctor was shock.
WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?
I never wanted to go to the gym because I was afraid people would stare at me but at the same time they was there for the same reason I was. Now I walk in that gym like I own it lol
DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING?
When I lost my nephew in 2011 I wanted to stop everything but I said to myself my nephew wouldn’t want that so I jump back into my journey weighing 220 pounds
DID YOU HIT ANY WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAUS? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?
yes I just changed up my workout and what I ate.
HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO LOSE MOST OF THE WEIGHT?
I took me two months I wanted it so bad.
DID YOU HAVE ANY NON-SCALE VICTORIES?
Yes the scale is evil stay away from it. I’m going to to tell you this that scale will make you quit on everything you’ve worked hard for. I’m all about inches
WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY DIET LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
I eat what I have always eaten but smaller portion. I don’t go to sleep after every time I eat something I keep moving I drink plenty of water and I didn’t do that before.
HOW DOES YOUR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY COMPARE TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
I didn’t do any physical activity I was ashamed of my weight gain
MY WEIGHT LOSS TIPS & TRICKS
- Never quit always remember why you started
- Fit don’t mean skinny
- Drink at least a gallon or up to 8 glasses of water a day.
- Never try to look like no one else set your on goals let them be your motivation you are your on competition
- Meal prep it will help you a lot along the way. Always remember you don’t need a gym to get started I started from home in my bedroom
