Health Green Up+ – the Dumbbells Built with Recycled CDs
In case you still own a heavy CD collection, it’s time to put them to good use.
They took a pretty long break since you started using the iPod, right?
Inventor Seung-il Kim figured we could use them as weights for dumbbells.
Does that sound awfully strange?
This idea may prove useful especially to women, who normally work out with small weights.
Considering a CD weighs about 15 grams, you can create a 1 kg dumbbell with 67 discs.
This could be great in case you are a beginner.
But if you already feel you can jump to the next level adding some more kilos, you will need a different set of dumbbells.
Once you place the CDs into the recycled plastic cases at each end of the dumbbell, you can start exercising.
This out-of-the-box idea is amazing considering you get to recycle old stuff, helping the environment at the same time.
Otherwise, would you be willing to try it?
