WHEN DID YOU START DEVELOPING A WEIGHT PROBLEM?

I struggled with weight every since I was a kid. It seemed with each pregnancy I had I just kept gaining and gaining.

HOW DID YOUR WEIGHT AFFECT ANY ASPECT(S) OF YOUR LIFE?
My confidence level was a 0 and I turned to good for comfort. I stayed away from the camera and I didn’t have many friends. I always felt like the “fat girl” and to top it off I had kiddos and so I just struggled a lot with not being active

WHAT WAS THE “TURNING POINT” THAT GOT YOU STARTED ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY?
After my third child I knew something had to change. I had to do it for my future. I couldn’t continue to let myself go and not take care of body. It hit me when I was going shopping for pants and I grabbed the size 16 that i normally grab and they didn’t fit. I had to go up a size to 18 and they still didn’t fit. Then I had to go up to a 20! I was notified at myself.

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I changed my eating habits! Starting the very next day. I downloaded my fitness pal and calculated everything I was putting into my body. I got on Pinterest and created a health board. Then I started working out! I could’ve barely last 10min!! So I started with 10-15 of Pilates and HIIT workouts that my sister had dowloaded for me.

HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS?
I began to notice a tight changes in engery right away. But the results really came after about 4 weeks. When I was able to fit into pre press act jeans size 15-16

WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?
I overcame not wanting to exercise and binge eating.

DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING?
I did at one point but I kept pushing. For myself to show myself that I was not a quitter

DID YOU HIT ANY WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAUS? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?
Yes!!! Right before I got pregnant with my 4th and now I am 4 mm postpartum and I have over come that plateau with working out and eating clean.

HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO LOSE MOST OF THE WEIGHT?
It took me about 1 year to loose the 50lbs. But I also had a pregnancy in between then and when I started

DID YOU HAVE ANY NON-SCALE VICTORIES?
Right now I am stronger! I have energy! I have lost 4 pant sizes! My mind no longer craves the bad food.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY DIET LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
I would eat anything! Binge eating junk food. Especially chips and sour patch kids. I would eat fast food daily.

HOW DOES YOUR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY COMPARE TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
I am 10x more active hands down! I workout out 6 x a week for 1hr and it goes by so fast! I’m able to run Now and I never was able to. I love being able to go to the park with kids and chase hen around without getting winded. Whereas before I wasn’t able to

MY WEIGHT LOSS TIPS & TRICKS

  1. Prep your workout clothes the night before
  2. Drink lots of water
  3. Make your workout fun! Switch tnupnand don’t always do the same thing
