WHEN DID YOU START DEVELOPING A WEIGHT PROBLEM?
After I had my son 5 years ago.
HOW DID YOUR WEIGHT AFFECT ANY ASPECT(S) OF YOUR LIFE?
I went into a deep depression. I didn’t want to hang out with my friends or family, i started staying in the house and didn’t want to go out. I was always so sad and miserable.
WHAT WAS THE “TURNING POINT” THAT GOT YOU STARTED ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY?
Seeing myself staring in the mirror crying realizing I only have 1 life and I’m spending it so miserable. I wasn’t living I was just existing.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I signed up for the gym and started going 7 days a week. I completely stopped eating fast foods, breads rice pasta and sweets.
HOW LONG AFTER YOU STARTED DID YOU BEGIN TO SEE RESULTS OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS?
About 2 months after.
WHAT WAS THE HARDEST PART?
Omg !!! Not eating SWEETS! Cookies ice cream honey buns!!! My body went through like a shock!
DID YOU EVER WANT TO GIVE UP? WHAT KEPT YOU GOING?
ALWAYS!! Lol I mean I have been trying for 4 years. This time the thing that kept me going was my depression I knew I wanted to beat it .
DID YOU HIT ANY WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAUS? HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THEM?

My pant size went from a 14 to a 8
WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY DIET LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
Lots of veggies. I eat 5/6 times a day now (little meals) egg whites and turkey bacon for breakfast with a fruit
Salad and chicken with boiled eggs for lunch
Steak and broccoli for dinner
And fruits and veggies unsalted peanuts through out the day
HOW DOES YOUR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY COMPARE TO WHEN YOU WERE HEAVIER?
I know do cross fit. My endurance Is a lot higher now
MY WEIGHT LOSS TIPS & TRICKS
- Dedication to is is the number one thing. Set your goal and plans and don’t forget why u are changing your life
- No fast food at all
- Work out. Any where. Anytime . At home , gym , before bed , lunch break
- Drink lost of water. No liquor juice or sodas
- Post motivational pics and quotes in your phone, fridge mirror etc
I was very thin growing up.I had my beautiful son and gained50lbs over the 5yrs.I didn’t know it but I went into a horrible depression.I didn’t feel pretty I was so unhappy. I thought about how my son needed a healthy mom if I didn’t do something the depression would get worse.I changed my way of eating and went to the gym7days a week. I Am now down 50lbs.Im fianlly happy! I just want all the moms to know Its possible!! do not ignore depression! Dont be embarassed to seek help!v
